Baratza Conical Grounds Bin Replacement, Clear (fit Preciso, Virtuoso, Encore), Part# 6142

As others have stated, this increment for my Baratza Encore fits better than the original one that came with it 11 years ago. Hardly any grounds escaped the grinded coffee bin. I do recall come of the Cons about the Baratza Encore grinder in 2012 was the noise and that it was messy and required more cleanup after a grind.

Plus the new improved ground coffee bin has a line on the front to indicate maximum grinding level. Since the grinds pile up into a small hill, the apex of the ground coffee could clog the ground coffee shoot and then you'll need to fix that.

I did a hack by using a hook-and-loop (I guess Velcro is copyrighted or something) cinch strap to keep the original coffee bin secure while grinding to minimize the coffee grounds that would spill over into the coffee bin. It worked and was pretty cheap. But the new coffee grinder bin is cleaner to use than the cinch strap.

I agree that the replacement bin fits even better than an original bin. The only thing I don't like is that shipping price to Canada :(

The replacement bin was exactly what I was looking for. I think it even fits more snug than the original bin that the Encore comes with does. Everything came quickly. I’m overall happy with my experience.
