I had noticed my grinder was taking longer to grind my coffee beans to a course hrind, it was set at 30, fir French press. When I was grinding coffee for son I found out it wouldn't grind at anything nut course no matter my setting. I found all three tabs on my adjuster ring were broken off. I replaced the ring and burr as an assembly. Now my grinder works like it is brand new.
I should’ve replaced my burr about 25# ago, it’s amazing the difference between this new burr and the original.
Baratza was out of stock on this so I was very happy to have found another source.
Awesomely easy to replace my cracked ring; and it was cracked because I didn’t clean unit enough, so lesson learned. It’s a new coffe day…!

I have the Encore Coffee Grinder and the beans were not being ground. I replaced the Baratza Ring Burr with holder. The old ring holder had one of the plastic mount part broke (3 of them but now 2). The coffee beans are still not being ground. Possibly the blade is worn? The grinder is not even 3 yrs old. I decided to not buy more parts for the Encore Coffee Grinder. If not the grinder blade then what. So we just purchased a Fellows Ode Gen 2 Coffee Grinder more expensive but my son has one and recommended it. John K.

My hopper is set it is still a very course grind, I wish I could return it. I'm not putting any more money into
