Espro Replacement Coffee Filter

These filters work well and are very easy to clean but I wish they would slightly increase the diameter of the rubber "wiper-ring" (don't know what it's actually called) because it does allow grind residue to pass by into the pressed coffee that leaves a pretty good amount of residue in your cup.

Ordered replacement parts from my Espro French Press micro filter screen. Parts came quickly and fit great.

The 18 oz. French Press is a lovely piece of gear. Along with the high end hand grinder I also purchased - excellent coffee.
My only question : there is always about 4 oz. of liquid still in the press after I’ve finished. Simply will not pour out without removing the screens. Perhaps a deliberate design innovation?

It works better than the original. It filters just as well, but takes less force when pressing. I also like the twist-lock feature on the replacement filter.

My new puppy got a hold of the filter for my French press, and I was in a panic! This was on a Thursday morning, and I went online and found this wonderful company to send me a replacement.

I ordered the wrong size for my French press, but not a problem! Within a matter of a couple of days, the right sized one came to me with a label to mail back the first one I received.
